The Regulatory Systems Laboratory, headed by Dr Emily Wong, is seeking a driven and highly motivated experimental Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Institute.

You will be part of a highly collaborative group whose primary objective is to understand gene regulatory control, through the context of evolution, development and regeneration, using comparative methods, novel technologies and animal models. The Regulatory Systems Laboratory uses cutting edge molecular technology with capability in computational and experimental methods.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to study the genetic and molecular mechanisms underpinning enhancer function using high throughput molecular methods. You will receive support from a collaborative inter-disciplinary team of scientists in systems biology and bioinformatics.

Does this sound like you?

 - PhD in genetics/genomics, molecular biology, or a related discipline

- Excellent molecular biology skills

- Strong interest and experience in gene reg​ulation & genome biology

- Preferable experience in multi-omics data and experience with R/scripting

- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interpret results
