Your next career opportunity
We have two casual vacancies available in our Heart Health Check Team. The Heart Health Check Lead will be responsible for performing mobile heart health checks within in Sydney and interstate within NSW.
The role is responsible for working collaboratively with a range of partner organisations, including Heartbeat of Football and HCF.
Reporting to the Heart Health Check Manager, the position will also work closely with other Heart Health Check staff members in the team.
What we will trust you with
- Run controls on testing machines and ensure they are in working order.
- Set up correct testing layout on the testing table.
- Ensure equipment working and tubs have enough stock for the shift.
- Set up the concierge station, competent in communicating with the public their estimated wait time, assisting them in filling in the form.
- Confident driving our motor vehicle.
- Perform the express and complete Heart Health Check including taking a participant's blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol.
- Providing each participant discreetly with information around opportunities to modify their lifestyle to minimise risks of developing problems that may compromise their health and wellbeing.
- Trouble shooting errors on machines/equipment.

Essential
Highly motivated
Capable of independent work as well as enjoying working in a team
Friendly and approachable with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Flexible on the days, times and hours per week you are available to work
Desirable
Experience with measuring blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol along with a good understanding of healthy lifestyle factors and heart health will be highly regarded but not essential.
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or a similar qualification.
Special Requirements
Current unrestricted NSW driver's license
